FROM FR. RAY+

I know I speak for everyone when I say how much we appreciate the work of those who helped make the first week of Lent a blessing!  A big THANKS go out to West Hornor and his crew for the delicious Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper.  Our mini Lenten Retreat with Brother Jim Woodrum was very inspiring and really set the tone for our Lenten journey. While Brother Jim fed our souls, many brought food to feed our bodies.  Thanks to all who prepared the soup and salad for Friday night and the delicious breakfast dishes for Saturday morning!

Our Lenten journey continues with Evening Prayer at 5:30 on Mondays during Lent. Then, on Wednesdays at 5:30 we will celebrate the Eucharist followed by a simple soup supper and brief program in the undercroft.  Our Wednesday evening program will focus on five disciplines designed to strengthen our walk with Jesus.  Those five disciplines are:

                                  March 4       Worship and Prayer

                                    March 11      Study

                                    March 18      Service

                                    March 25      Giving

                                    April 1           Sharing our Faith

Blessings, Fr. Ray+
