FYI: Whitsunday is so named because the candidates for Baptism wore white on the Vigil of Pentecost.  Pentecost is celebrated on a Jewish festival called feast of weeks and takes place 50 days after Easter, hence the name Pentecost.  This is when the Holy Spirit of our Lord and Savior descended upon the Apostles.
ALTAR GUILD TEAM ONE (Susan’s team) will meet at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 30th to polish.
