ADULT EDUCATION: Class will meet from 9:00 until 9:30 to review what they have studied in Mathew and then leave to go the Blessing of the Palms at the Methodist garden.
SUNDAY SCHOOL: No class due to Blessing of the Palms at the Methodist garden at 9:45 am.
WORSHIP: March 29, Holy Eucharist Rite I at 10:30 am with the Canon Jason Alexander as our celebrant.

HOLY MONDAY & HOLY TUESDAY: Evening prayer at 5:30 in the chapel.
HOLY WEDNESDAY, April 1: Holy Eucharist with Unction and prayers for healing at 5:30 in the chapel led by Arnold Hearn.
MAUNDY THURSDAY, April 2nd   Holy Eucharist at 5:30 with the stripping of the altar with Rev. Stuart Hoke presiding.
GOOD FRIDAY, April 3rd noon day service lead by Rev. Stuart Hoke.
GOOD FRIDAY, April 3rd Stations of the Cross lead by Rev. Stuart Hoke.
EASTER DAY, April 5th at 9:45 the flowering of the cross and Holy Eucharist at 10:30.
FELLOWSHIP NEWS: Immediately following the Easter Day service there will be “Mimosas on the Lawn” and an Easter egg hunt.
St. John’s Good Samaritans (ECW):  Please feel free to call Maureen Jones (404-697-7197) or Jeannie Turley (870-816-6387) if you are in need of some help with errands or transportation or food, or if you would just like some company.  These and other members of the ECW have graciously offered their time to assist anyone needing help.  If you would like to volunteer services, please let Maureen or Jeannie know.

The Samaritan’s Purse: The Samaritan’s purse category for donation for MARCH is: Accessories for girls age 5-14 (bracelets, hair bands, hair clips, necklaces, rings and earrings). Accessories for boys age 5-1 (sunglasses, visors, caps, hats, flip flops, boxers, & T-shirts with no logos). 
A basket for the collection of these items will be in the narthex every Sunday.
Angels of GraceThe items from their wish list this week are laundry detergent and bleach for the women’s shelter. Please place you items in the plastic tub at the stair landing just outside the chapel coming up from the undercroft.
SATURDAY, MARCH 28th at 10:00 am.  All altar guild members will meet to make palm crosses and polish silver.  Everyone is welcomed.


THURSDAY, APRIL 2nd at 5:30 pm.  All altar guild members will strip the altar at the Maundy Thursday service.
SATURDAY, APRIL 4th at 10:00 am.  All altar guild members will meet to prepare the church for Easter.
The Helena United Methodist Church women cordially invite everyone to attend “Lenten Listening” services at 12:00 noon each week.  These services will continue on Wednesday through April 1st.  Bring a sandwich and they will furnish beverage and dessert.  A nursery will be provided.  This week’s speaker will be Celeste Zeptoni with music by Celeste Zeptoni.
EXCUSE OUR MESS! Hurd Construction and painting has begun the tuck point project on our bricks which will preserve our building for future generations.  There will also be some painting done.  Have patience with us while we undergo this facelift.
